Crockpot citrus and cinnamon cider

My husband has never boasted about being a good cook. However, some of my favorite recipes have come from him. He makes fantastic biscuits and gravy and his eggplant parmesan is amazing! But my favorite recipe of his that we make around Christmas is his citrus and cinnamon cider.

There are so many reasons to love this citrus and cinnamon cider. First, it is made in a crockpot which means your pour everything in and walk away. There is no messing with the temperature on the stove making sure it’s not boiling or not getting hot enough. You don’t even have to stir it until you serve it. How easy is that?

Second, it is easy to take on the road. If you want to heat it up before you leave you just have to put a lid on it. Most crockpots have the lids that can be secured down for this very purpose. When you get to where you are going, just plug it back in to keep it warm. You don’t have to worry about balancing a pot full of hot liquid in the car or finding space on someone else’s stove. Bottom line it is the perfect drink to take to a party.

Third, you will want to make this drink a couple hours in advance for whatever you are doing even if you are taking it somewhere because as it gets warm it starts making the whole house smell amazing! Honestly, it is almost worth it to make just for that.

If you are wanting or needing to make a drink for a party or just to enjoy with your family you need to try this citrus and cinnamon cider. It is so incredibly easy to make, it is easy to travel with and it tastes better than any of the store-bought mixes hands down!
